Bahía Medical Urgent Care was founded by Dr. Roca, a first-generation American who was deeply influenced by the sacrifices his immigrant parents made to give him the opportunity to succeed. Growing up in an immigrant family, Dr. Roca witnessed the barriers his parents faced in accessing reliable healthcare. Inspired by their hard work and determination, he made it his mission to create something that would honor their sacrifices and give back to the community.

Dr. Roca’s vision was to establish an urgent care center that would provide accessible, high-quality care to people who often feel overlooked or underserved. With this in mind, Bahía Medical was born—a place where every patient is treated with respect, empathy, and understanding.

The name “Bahía” is a tribute to Dr. Roca’s father, an immigrant from Bahía de Caráquez, Ecuador. It reflects the deep connection to his roots and the values of hard work, community, and compassion that he holds dear.
